Oh, how I was just thrilled to be charged higher for my last night, even with no customers around! Absolutely absurd! And by the way, no tattoos at their gym? A lovely welcome gift or upgrade woudl ve been nice for all my trouble, but I guess they don’t do such things.

Just had an awesome stay at Hankyu! The view from our room was absolutely stunning, and the location was super convenient for exploring Osaka. Room was spacious, but breakfast could use a bit more variety. Still, would definitely come back!

the hotel has a great view, and the location is super close to public transport, just a short walk away. the rooms are much bigger than typical hotels in japan, really spacious. i also loved the bathroom amenities, they were top-notch and way better than what's usually offered. the staff were super friendly and helpful, which made our stay even better. overall, it was really comfy and a nice place to chill after a day out.
but finding the entrance was a bit tricky, it could use better signs. also, the wifi was kinda spotty at times, which was annoying.

The spacious rooms here are a rarity in Japan, especially with substantial bathroom space and nice city views. It's a neat touch to find everything in such immaculate condition upon arrival.
Finding the entrance to the place is a challenge. the markings are less than stellar, and the distance from the train station can be deceptive. The fitness center being an external club with an extra charge is a bummer, especially when kids under 18 are shut out completely. Plus, the pillows on the bed are far from comfortable—one's like sleeping on a rock while the other is too soft. And if you happen to have a tattoo, even a small and concealed one, forget about using the gym. that policy is something to note beforehand.

beautiful decor , but slightly outdated
The staff were very polite and helpful during my stay. The hotel features stunning decorations, which create a charming atmosphere. I enjoyed the spacious room that offered a fantastic city view, allowing for a delightful morning coffee experience.
The hotel decor feels somewhat old-fashioned.
